8 pagesHook — The baby photo on Gran's wall
The baby photo on Gran's wall
Jonah, 11 years old, is visiting his gran. They're on the sofa, laptop on her lap, scrolling through Facebook. Jonah glances over — and his mouth drops open.
There's a photo. His photo. Naked two-year-old Jonah in the bath, with a foam beard on his face. "Oh, our little Santa!" Gran has written underneath. 47 likes. 12 comments.
"Gran… that's really embarrassing. Why did you never take it down?"
Gran looks surprised. "But Jonah, you were so cute! And Facebook is just for family."
Jonah thinks: Hang on — that photo kind of belongs to me. The person in the photo is me. And nobody ever asked me.
He's right. Literally. And that's what this module is about.
